Parents' Rights Coalition

Parents' Rights Coalition

The Parents' Rights Coalition is a group, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, dedicated to fighting what they see as liberal, homosexual bias in Massachusetts public schools. The group is allied with, among others, MassResistance.

It disseminates information about alleged bias through its website, appearances on radio and television, and letters to newspapers. The organization is also active in lobbying for laws that they claim give parents greater freedom in deciding what their children learn.

They were brought to national attention in the United States due to their opposition to a Massachusetts school teacher reading a fairy tale in which two men are married. They allege that the school violated a law requiring the school to inform parents of all sex-ed related material.
