Iowa Highway 62 is a short highway in eastern Iowa. It has a length of 20 miles.

Iowa Highway 62 has a southern terminus at Iowa Highway 64 in Maquoketa and a northern terminus at U.S. Highway 52 in Bellevue.

Route description

Iowa Highway 62 begins on the eastern side of Maquoketa. It goes north from there to Andrew, then turns northeast at Andrew to go towards Bellevue. In Bellevue, it meets U.S. 52 and ends.

History

Iowa Highway 62 was designated in 1920 as a spur road to Bellevue from Maquoketa. In the 1930's, as U.S. Highway 55 (now U.S. Highway 52) was built, it became a connector between U.S. Highway 61 and U.S. Highway 55.Iowahighwaysref|lowrg=60|hirng=69|num=62|access_date=4 February 2007]
