Butterworth Outer Ring Road or BORR MES-E|17 is an expressway in Butterworth, Penang, Malaysia.

History

Construction began in 2003, and was completed in 2006. Began usage in January 2007. Sg Nyior residents protested high toll rate in February 2007. Bagan Ajam toll booth collection had been postponed by the Ministry of Works.

Features

Notable features of the expressway include Sungai Prai Bridge, which bridges Perai River and Sungai Maklom Bridge, which bridges Maklom River.
