The story lines are centered around a fictional hotel in
Oslo , its employees, and the Anker-Hansen family. In the first season the head of the hotel Georg Anker-Hansen, an aging serial womaniser, fell in love and married a professional escort, Ninni Krogstad, much to the displeasure of his mother and numerous offspring. The character died of incurable cancer at the end of the season, and the major story lines since then has been about the ownership and control of the hotel.Cast
