Established in 2001, BusinessDay is Nigeria's leading business daily. It is jointly owned by Nigerian and South African investors. Johncom, the South African media conglomerate that owns BusinessDay South Africa holds the majority stake in the company. The publisher of BusinessDay Nigeria is Frank Aigbogun, a former editor of Vanguard newspapers. It is the only Nigeria newspaper with a bureau in Accra, Ghana. An authoritative source of business information, BusinessDay Nigeria has Stanley Egbochuku, a veteran journalist, as its editor-in-chief and Okwudili Ojukwu-Enendu as its editor. The newspaper has produced many award-winning journalists among which are Anthony Osei-Brown and Godwin Nnanna. It publishes daily Monday to Friday.
