"Follow Me Home" is a pop ballad performed by British group Sugababes. It was written by band members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Heidi Range, as well as Jonathan Lipsey, Karen Poole, and J. Shaw for the trio's fourth studio album "Taller In More Ways" (2005). Produced by Jony Rockstar, the track was released as the fourth single and final on June 5, 2006 in Ireland and the United Kingdom, where it became the Sugababes' lowest-charting single to date.

Music video

The music video for "Follow Me Home" was shot in the Czech Republic, premiered on April 30, 2006. It is set in Warsaw, Poland during the Cold War, and shows the group playing the parts of so-called 'honeytrappers' – women who manipulated high ranking military personnel out of secrets.

The Sugababes wanted to adopt a different angle and avoid the traditional ballad video, to show a different side to the song. While there is no strong storyline to the video, it adopts a sombre mood, reflecting the sadness within the song. The girls are all wearing vintage clothing from the 70’s and 80’s and the video was shot in a hotel that was specifically built for the communist leaders of the time. At these hotels they would throw lavish parties that would never be permitted back home in Moscow.

Chart performance

The single only made number thirty-two in UK singles charts, the group's lowest charting single. It has sold to date 15,300 copies in the UK. One of the groups earlier singles "Soul Sound" debuted and peaked in the charts at number thirty. However "Follow Me Home" has sold more copies, with "Soul Sound" only selling 10,000 copies. This makes "Follow Me Home" the girls second lowest selling single. "Follow Me Home" as well as singles "Angels With Dirty Faces", "Soul Sound" and "New Year", were not included in the line up of their greatest hits album.

Even though the single failed to get realised in Europe, it did manage to chart in Asian countries like Indonesia and The Philippines. It charted in the official top 100 charts in both countries, but charted at low positions and it was not commercially realised as a CD single, only as digital single.
