Rob Sitch

Robert Ian Sitch (born March 17 1962), is an Australian director, producer, screenwriter and actor.

Sitch attended St Kevin's College and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Melbourne. He practised medicine for a short time.Fact|date=September 2008

Sitch is currently a member of the Working Dog production company which produced the television shows "Frontline", "A River Somewhere" and "The Panel"; and also the movies "The Castle" and "The Dish". Sitch co-wrote and directed both of these movies. In 2006, to mark 50 years of television in Australia, the Nine Network special 50 Years 50 Stars listed Rob at the 39th greatest living television star in Australia. Several of Rob's programs, including the D-Generation and Frontline, were included in the earlier special; 50 Years 50 Shows coming in at 50 and 22 respectively.

Jane Kennedy and Sitch have been a couple for many years and have five children together.Fact|date=September 2008 The pair seldom comment publicly on their relationship. Sitch's brother Greg is a high-profile lawyer who also served as executive producer of "The Mick Molloy Show".

Rob was often a guest host on the now canceled Triple M radio show Get This.

Sitch is a supporter of the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League.Fact|date=September 2008

He is also a co-author of the satirical Jetlag Travel Guides to Molvanîa, Phaic Tăn and San Sombrèro.
