Flegg High School is a secondary school located in Martham, Norfolk, UK. It was built in the 1960s for boys and girls aged 12-16. Much of the school has been expanded over the years and in 2006/7 major building work was undertaken to accommodate the inclusion of Year 7 pupils, and generally update the buildings, bringing the school roll in September 2007 up to near 1000 pupils.

Faculties

The organisational structure at Flegg is based on a system of five faculties.
"The Business Faculty" oversees work in ICT, Mathematics, Technology and Business Studies, and organises work-related learning and vocational courses. "The Languages Faculty" includes English, History, Modern Foreign Languages, Media Studies and Religious Education.
Science, Rural Science, PE and Geography make up the "Science Faculty" and the "Arts Faculty" covers Music, Drama, Dance, Art & Design and Textiles. Finally, a "Support Faculty" embraces Special Educational Needs, Citizenship, Pastoral Care and Student Leadership.

pecialist College

Flegg High is a Business and Enterprise College, and a National Hub for that specialism.

The school works closely with Norwich City Football Club on a programme to promote active citizenship for young people. This Fair Play programme encourages student leadership, inspired by links with the Starehe School in Nairobi, Kenya, a peer support scheme, which is supported and recommended by Childline, and various other initiatives including student councils and anti-bullying strategies.
