Legislative Council of the Falkland Islands

The Legislative Council of the Falkland Islands has ten members. Eight are elected every four years and the remaining two are ex officio. As no political parties are active on the Islands, non-partisans were elected at the most recent election (17 November, 2005). The next elections are due to be held in November 2009.Fact|date=May 2008
