Chooseco is a publishing company founded by children's author R. A. Montgomery to reissue volumes in the Choose Your Own Adventure gamebook series. Chooseco is starting with reissues of Montgomery's own works, as well as those of other authors, as rights are negotiated. Chooseco currently owns the rights to the Choose Your Own Adventure trademarks.

History

Chooseco is republishing many of the books in the series as well as adding new titles. Sundance Publications released eighteen titles in 2005 and released another eighteen titles in 2006 along with teacher guides and student workbooks for the educational market. In 2007 Chooseco filed a lawsuit against DaimlerChrysler, claiming that the company's "Choose Your Adventure" advertising campaign for their Jeep Patriot infringed on Chooseco's trademarks.[1]
