Tore Torgersen

Tore Torgersen, born 10 September 1968 in Stavanger, Norway, is one of the world's leading ten-pin bowlers. Although born in Stavanger, he now lives in Vänersborg in Sweden.

Tore started to bowl in 1980, is now a professional world champion and has played in every bowling event since 1984.

Tore has bowled in the prestigious Weber Cup on three occasions and won two of those events.

Tore is a member of the bowling team Pergamon / Sweden and Stavanger bowling club / Norway and is sponsored by Turbo 2-n-1 Grips.

Torgersen has stated that the highlight of his career was becoming word champion in UAE.

In 2002 Torgersen thrilled a capacity crowd to become the first double champion of the Hasseröder World Tenpin Masters. He is now, in 2006, a three time World Tenpin Masters champion.

He is a member of the PBA (Professional Bowlers Association).
