Santa Ynez Stakes

The Santa Ynez Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run at Santa Anita Park, USA, early each year. The race is open to fillies, age three, willing to race seven furlongs on the dirt. A Grade II event, it carries a purse of $150,000 and is considered a prep to the Kentucky Oaks.

Silver Spoon won this race in 1959. Susan's Girl won it in 1972 and Serena's Song in 1995.
