Altynay Sapargalieva

Altynay Sapargalieva (Kazakh language: Алтынай Сапарғалиева (born November 30 1989 in Zhanaözen, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union (present Kazakhstan)) is a Kazakh singer who rose to popularity after placing third (Contestant NO.320106) in SuperStar KZ 3, the Kazakh version of Pop Idol.

About

The name "Altyn-ay" is translated from Kazakh language, it means "Golden-moon". She is in the 9th grade. She's graduated from the musical school specializing in class of "fortepiano". Altynay is very passionate about music and singing. Song is her soul; she sings all the time and everywhere.

She lives with her parents in the Zhana-Ozen: Older sister and her mentor Aida Ibragimova, Aida showed her artistic abilities as an editor at the Television Channel in Aqtau; Younger brother, Bakhitzhan Sapargaliev who is a 7th grade student & her father Alibek Sapargaliev.

She's been on a stage, since her early childhood, performing at the major cities of Kazakhstan. Altynay also showed her scholar abilities by participating in a show called "21st Century Leader". The show is an academic trivia game, a Kazakh version of the Jeopardy for teenagers. In addition, she competed in a Kazakh National Competition for the gifted kids "Anshi Balapan".

Also, many times she has performed, as a guest, at the International Competition "Jakhan Dala" in the city of Aqtau.

Descendency

Altynay Sapargalieva is a great-grand daughter of the famous Kazakh composer "Jayau Mussa", who composed the "Aksisa".

Altynay's mother, Gulsharia Sapargalieva Ersainovna, is a professional musician who graduated from the college of "P.I.Tchaikovskii" and specialized in directing of the orchestra and choir. She has passed her love for music to her daughter Altynay. She has raised three children by herself.
