Iqaluit West

Iqaluit West is a territorial electoral district (riding) for the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut, Canada.

The riding consists of the community of Iqaluit.

The current Member of the Legislative Assembly is Paul Okalik.

On 10 October 2008, CBC North reported that the mayor of Iqaluit, Elisapee Sheutiapik, would be taking a leave of absence to run in the upcoming Nunavut election. It further stated that she would be running in Iqaluit West, which is currently held by Premier Paul Okalik.
