Senator Ken Maddy Handicap

The Senator Ken Maddy Handicap is a race for thoroughbred horses run each year at Santa Anita Park, California, USA, during the Oak Tree Racing Association meet. The race is open to three year olds and up willing to race six and a half furlongs on the downhill turf course. A Grade III event, it offers a purse of $100,000.Fact|date=August 2007

Prior to 1999, the race was called the Autumn Days Handicap.Fact|date=August 2007 The race is known as "The Maddy", after the long-serving California State Senator Kenneth L. Maddy for his love of horses and thoroughbred racing.Fact|date=August 2007

Hall of Fame inductee and 1971's Horse of the Year, Ack Ack, won this race in 1970 under Willie Shoemaker.
