The village has bestowed with a great spirituality for a long time. There are many educated youth from the village who spread across many parts of the world.
The village has more than 25 dedicated teachers working in many parts of the state. Some more youth are self employed and working in some small companies. All the youth from the village have a great love towards the development of a model village. To achieve this goal, Pragathi(http://www.pragathi.info), an NGO (a member of IDCA) has originated in April 2006 by a group of educated and employed people from the village. The meaning of Pragathi in the regional language Telugu is "progress". Very recently there is good improvement in the development of roads and power supply. Recently one more NGO, Adopt Child Online (ACO India) originated from Chaganti Vari Palem to adopt children to sponsor his/her education.

Though Narasaraopet has also a railway station, Sattenapalli is the preferable railway station as there are several trains through Sattenapalli to reach most of South India(Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Tirupathi, Cochi, Trivandrum,) and few places like Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Surat etc.
