Immanuel Bible Church

Immanuel Bible Church is a non-denominational Bible church located in Springfield, Virginia, about 2 miles inside of the Capital Beltway and 10 miles outside of Washington, DC. Founded in 1964 as a Baptist church, the congregation met at Lee High School until a suitable structure was established. The church left the General Association of Regular Baptists in 1984 and never re-associated with any denomination. With a weekly congregation of over 3,500 men, women, and children, the church is one of the largest in the Northern Virginia.In 2004, Immanuel Bible Church helped in the establishment of Gateway Bible Church in Gainesville, VA. In 2006, Immanuel Bible Church began a partnership with Grace Bible Church in Lorton, VA.

Music and Worship

Immanuel Bible Church is world-renowned for superior music performances and its weekly Sunday-morning service music. Immanuel's Music Ministry is all about the "state of the heart" for worship first, and then the state of the art. How the worship sounds is the state of the art, while the worship itself is in fact the state of the heart. While every musician is encouraged and trained to sing and play their very best, it is understood that if that is all that is accomplished, we have missed the very thing our Lord was after...our worship. Every musician and worship support personnel is encouraged to have a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Only then can we lead Immanuel's congregation to a personal love and worship of our God.
