Phillip Bernard Daniels (born March 4, 1973 in Donalsonville, Georgia) is an American football defensive end for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. He lives in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

High school years

Daniels attended Seminole County High School (Donalsonville, GA) and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball.

Professional career

Daniels became a solid defensive lineman in the aggressive defense of Gregg Williams. He started to take more leadership at the line. After Daniels tore his ACL on the first day of the 2008 training camp, the Redskins traded for former Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor to replace him.
