Training With the USA National Team

On March 4th-15th, Jorg traveled to Lucca, Italy where he stayed with the owner of SRM and trained with the U23 USA National Team. Preben, a data analyist for SRM talked with Jorg and quoted him as saying, "Jorg has only one goal, to rip all of [the U23's legs off] ."

During these training rides, Jorg would ride 300 watts for five hours yet would not drink any water or eat any food. It is said that his body doesn't burn glycogen until he goes over threshold, that he's so efficient he can burn fat all day and hence the need not to eat any sugar to regain glycogen.
