Les Luthiers, Grandes Hitos ("Les Luthiers: Greatest Hits - an Anthology") was a show performed by the Argentinian comedic group of Les Luthiers.

The Show

The show officially premiered in May 7, 1992 by the comedic group of Les Luthiers.It's premise consists of a compilation of some of their best works during their career.The show ended in 1996.

Programme

*El Sendero de Warren Sánchez - Salmos sectarios, 1987 "("The Path of Warren Sanchez")"The first play in the programme, it is a parody of alleged spiritual groups that exist. They start with mocks of subjects like the sins, the devil and auto-help programs. It ends with news that Warren, the leader of the group has problems with the authorities.

*Serenata Medio Oriental - Música Medio Árabe, 1983 "("Half-Oriental Serenade")"The second play in the programme, it starts with the introduction which makes reference to oriental subjects in a funny way, then the play is a parody about oriental music and the Arabic custom of having multiple lovers and wives.

*Kathy, la Reina del Saloon - Música de cine mudo, 1977 "("Kathy, the Queen of the Saloon")"The third play of the programme, which is a direct parody of the era of the silent movies. It starts with the group re-telling a silent movie and ending in funny consequences.

*Encuentro en el Restaurante - Rapsodia gastronómica, 1987 "("Encounter at the Restaurant")"The fourth play in the programme, is set on a restaurant and a person talking to a woman he had met and forgiving himself for doing some things to her.The staff in the restaurant starts annoying him and he can't stand up with them, and at the end it is later discovered that he was rehearsing before he actually talked to the woman.

*Canción para Moverse - Canción infantil, 1979 "("The Song for Moving")"The fifth play in the programme, is a parody of child psychologists and the songs that are made specially for babies and children to help motor skills and ends in almost-impossible movements that can be practiced (the demonstrator ends tied-up with his own body).

*Entreteniciencia Familiar - Musica de camara de TV, 1983 "("Family Entertainment")"The sixth play in the programme, is a parody of family targeted entertainment programs, mocking the attitude of the presenter when he, instead of receiving a band of Tropical music for the show gets a group that plays Chamber Music (classical music).

*Lazy Daisy - Hall Music, 1977 "("Lazy Daisy")"The seventh play in the programme, pokes fun at Music Hall groups that used to play in the past, ending in accidents caused by rivalry between the singers.

*Las Majas del Bergantín - Zarzuela Náutica, 1981The eight play in the programme, makes reference of Spanish pirates and opera pieces. It starts with a group of all male sailors transporting female pirate prisioners to hand them over to the Spanish government. They fall in love and sadly have to give them back to the pirates.

*La Hora de la Nostalgia - Diez minutos de recuerdos, 1989 "("The Nostalgic Hour")"Off the programme, it is a parody of nostalgic interview shows.They invite a really old singer that can barely remember what he did and not understanding some of the questions, which also ends in funny consequences.
