Spain’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 was selected internally by nation broadcaster TVE. After much spectulation from Spanish Media, it was revealed officially that Las Ketchup would represent Spain with the song "Un Bloody Mary", also the name of their next album. "Un Bloody Mary" has a calm rhythm with Andalusian Flamenco elements. The song is written and composed by Manuel Ruiz Gómez (Queco), the man who also produced the 2005 Spanish entry "Brujería" performed by Son de Sol.

Las Ketchup is a Spanish group that now consists of four sisters called Pilar, Dolores, Lucía and Rocío Muñoz. Hailing from Córdoba, Las Ketchup are the four daughters of El Tomate, the Flamenco guitarist. Their first album was titled "Las Hijas del Tomate" {Daughters of the Tomato), which contained their international hit, The Ketchup Song ("Aserejé").
