In 2008, Campbell will appear in the romantic comedy "Play The Game" alongside Andy Griffith, Doris Roberts, Liz Sheridan, and Marla Sokoloff. Campbell plays a young ladies man who teaches his lonely, widowed grandfather how to re-enter the dating world after a 60 year hiatus.

"Battlestar Galactica"

In 2003, the cult 1970s program "Battlestar Galactica" was brought back to life, albeit in a reimagined form, as a three hour miniseries. The project was written and produced by Ronald D. Moore and directed by Michael Rymer. Paul Campbell starred as Billy Keikeya, a personal assistant to the President, in the reimagined "Battlestar Galactica". The Miniseries effectively served as pilot for a potential TV show. A TV series was commissioned in a collaborative effort between the American Sci Fi Channel and Sky TV (the British broadcaster). Battlestar Galactica is filmed mostly in Vancouver, Canada and is currently in production for its fourth season however Paul Campbell's character was killed off in Season 2, Episode 16 'Sacrifice'. Paul Campbell has not appeared in the series since, and his character did not have a counterpart in the original 1978 series.
