Stuart Pearson Wright

Stuart Pearson Wright (born 1975, Northampton) is an award winning [ [ BP prizewinner accuses Tate of neglecting Britain's portrait artists - Media, News - ] ] English artist who works mainly in paint. He was educated at Slade School of Fine Art [ [ Stuart Pearson Wright (1975-), Artist ] ] , University College of London (1995-1999), where he graduated with honours, receiving a B.A. in Fine Art. He won the BP Travel Prize in 1998, the BP Portrait Award [ [,,509774,00.html BP prize for old flesh and fowl art | Arts | ] ] in 2001, and the Garrick/Milne Prize [ [ Stuart Pearson Wright (1975-), Artist ] ] in 2005.
