Larry Kissell (born January 31, 1951) is a American social studies high school teacher, former textile worker, and the Democratic Party nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives seat in ushr|North Carolina|8. The Eighth district stretches from Charlotte to Fayetteville. Robin Hayes, a Republican, has held the Eighth District seat since 1999.

Kissell was also the nominee in the 2006 elections, winning the May 2006 Democratic Party primary.
