Greek plebiscite, 1924

The Greek plebiscite of 1924 ensured and affirmed the dominance of the venizelist point of view. 69.78% of Greeks, including the refugees from Asia Minor, expressed their disapproval towards the royal family and King George II by approving the government proposal of a presidential parliamentary republic.
