In February 2008 Hammond gave an interview to "
The Sunday Times " newspaper in which he described the effect of his brain injuries. He admitted suffering loss of memory, depression, and difficulties with emotional experiences, for which he was consulting apsychiatrist . He also recognised that he had returned to Top Gear too soon after the accident.Works
