Herbert Edward Perry, Jr. (born September 15, 1969 in Live Oak, Florida) is a Major League Baseball infielder. Is known as the "milkman" due to the fact that he is the owner of a dairy farm in Florida. This nickname seemed to have a duplicitous meaning during his years for the White Sox, because many fans thought he had the nickname "milkman" due to the fact that he always "delivered" in a clutch situation. Currently residing in the small town of Mayo, Florida he now coaches the Lafayette County baseball team, the Lafayette Hornets. He hit 22 Home Runs in 2002 for the Texas Rangers awesome in the fact he only hit 28 previous Home Runs in 7 years total though on limited playing time.12 of those came in 2000 with the White Sox. Herbert was well on his way to good Home Run totals the next 2 seasons when injuries shortened his Major League Career to only 9 seasons. Perry attended the University of Florida. He has two sons and one daughter: Ethan, Drew, and Gabriella.
