"Holy Night" is episode 76 of "The West Wing". It marks the first instance of Will Bailey played by Joshua Malina as a main star.

Plot

It is two days before Christmas and who should appear but reporter Danny Concannon. He's dressed as St. Nick, but isn't spreading good cheer, focusing instead on some compelling information he uncovered in Bermuda. Also showing up at the White House is Toby's father (Toby isn't exactly pleased to see him because of his father's violent past as a mob hitman); Bartlet's daughter Zoey, who's accompanied by her French boyfriend (Trent Ford) (Charlie isn't pleased to see him, especially after Zoey demands he arrange for the boyfriend to spend the holiday with them and castigates him for refusing to do so); and psychiatrist Stanley Keyworth, to whom Bartlet complains about concentration lapses. Meanwhile, the president decides to rip up the HHS budget just before it is due at the printer's. That'll mean a lot of work over the holidays. Josh and Leo monitor the closing of the Church of the Nativity due to a nearly-collapsing roof and put off the HHS work in order to get UN workers to fix the situation in Bethlehem. Also, both the President and Leo contemplate telling somebody else about the Shareef action.
