Tingewick is a village and also a civil parish within Aylesbury Vale district in Buckinghamshire, England, near the Oxfordshire border. It is located about three miles west of Buckingham. It was originally on the A421 and from 1998 has been bypassed by a dual carriageway around the village.

The village name is an Old English language word, and means 'Teoda's dwelling'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as "Tedinwiche".

Tingewick comprises about 2,300 acres of mainly arable farmland and pasture with some woodland. It has a population of some 1,000 people. Part of the village lies in a Conservation Area and a number of the 400 dwellings are listed buildings.

The village has a church, a Post Office/Shop. There are two public houses and a village hall. Commercially there is a pottery, an auction room, an agricultural metal work factory, an animal feed warehouse and a farm supplies depot.

Tingewick is served by Roundwood Primary School, which was formed by merging the Tingewick and Gawcott infants schools.

The village has held two large charity concerts called 'Party in the Paddock' in 2004/2005.

The nearest town 3 miles to the east is Buckingham, with Brackley (in Northamptonshire) 6 miles to the west.
