Freedict

Freedict is a collection of free (GPL-licensed) bilingual dictionaries. There are DICT versions available. Some Linux distributions (such as Debian) provide the Freedict dictionaries as easily installable packages. StarDict can make a good frontend for daily use of Freedict.
