Sokol (train)

Sokol (Russian for "falcon") is a high speed train planned in Russia. It is as a successor of the ER200 on in the meantime the distance finished placed Moscow-St. Petersburg to operate and reach a cruising speed of 300 km/h (maximum speed 350 km/h). Since 1997 a prototype exists.
