The station has held firm to a soft adult contemporary format and has prospered while other local stations experiment with an array of competing formats. The playlist has expanded in recent years: whether playing Journey in morning drive is all that "soft" is matter of opinion. The staff includes a 17 year heritage morning show with Allan Camp, Mike Stacy and Allison Demers. Joan Dylan from 9am till 2pm, Joe Hann in PM Drive and Dean Richards with Pillowtalk love songs, and Delilah overnight. Sunday mornings the station broadcasts the Sunday Morning Smooth Jazz Brunch with Greg Roche which is ranked in double digits.fact|date=June 2007 It was said to be one of the markets said to be sold off by CBS, but in the long run CBS is not selling Hartford.fact|date=September 2007
