Wow Comics

Wow Comics

"Wow Comics" was a monthly ongoing comic book anthology series, which was published by Fawcett Comics from winter 1940 to March 1952. From issue #9 to #58, the book's cover features were the solo adventures of Fawcett's Mary Marvel character. The book evolved into a boys' Western title beginning with issue #59.

The book was renamed "Real Hero Western" with issue #70, and "Western Hero" from issue #76 until the book's final issue, #112, in 1952.

Another group, Way Over Wired comics gained small following with the characters of Zarinov and Rhino in a satire type writing about the digital world of computer geeks. After that site went off line, a duplicate site was hosted on the smackjeevs comics website.
