Jon Cassar (born in
Malta onApril 27 ,1958 ), is a director and producer of the television series "24", as well as a number of other film-related works. In2006 , he won anEmmy Award for his directing work on "24". He is a graduate ofAlgonquin College in Ottawa, Canada.He is the co-founder of the Motion Picture Industry Charitable Alliance, which hosts an annual charity auction, "Lights, Camera, Auction".
