Michael John "Mike" Minogue (2 October 1923 – 27 November 2008^[1]) was a National Party politician, lawyer and mayor.

He was Mayor of Hamilton, New Zealand between 1968 and 1976, when he resigned to become a Member of Parliament. He strongly opposed the policies of his own party's leader, Robert Muldoon because of his classical liberal beliefs.^[2]

He represented the Hamilton West electorate until the 1984 election, when he lost his seat to Labour Party challenger Trevor Mallard.
