"A Kick in the Head Is Worth Eight in the Pants"

RSO, 1973 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Elisa
* Wouldn't I Be Someone
* A Lonely Violin
* Losers And Lovers
* Home Again Rivers

Side 2
* Harry's Gate
* Rocky L.A.
* Castles In The Air
* Where Is Your Sister?
* It Doesn't Matter Much To Me

Album Notes
* Rejected by Polydor due to the failure of LIFE IN A TIN CAN. This rejection would inspire the brothers to change their musical style.
* All bootlegs shuffle the tracklist, and some add four additional tracks - "Jesus In Heaven", "Life, Am I Wasting My Time", "King and Country", and "Dear Mr. Kissinger."
* A high-quality CD version claiming to be a Polydor release has existed for several years, though this is in fact a bootleg.
* Thanks to Rhino's Bee Gees reissue series, this album will most likely see an official release sometime before 2010.

1977 - "Saturday Night Fever" (OST)

RSO, 1977

Bee Gees' Contributions
* Stayin' Alive
* How Deep Is Your Love
* Night Fever
* More Than a Woman
* If I Can't Have You
* You Should Be Dancing
* Jive Talkin'

Album Notes
* Originally intended to be The Bee Gees new studio album.
* Bee Gees version of "If I Can't Have You" wasn't used on the film nor included on the soundtrack. It was later released as the B-side of "Stayin' Alive" in 1978.
* Other songs recorded during this time were "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away" and "Warm Ride"
* Became the largest selling album in the world until 1983. It used to be the largest selling soundtrack in history. Record was broken by "Bodyguard" soundtrack released in 1992.

Robin's solo career

1970 - Robin's Reign

ATCO (US), Polydor (UK), 1970

Side 1
* August October
* Gone Gone Gone
* The Worst Girl In This Town
* Give Me A Smile
* Down Came The Sun
* Mother And Jack

Side 2
* Saved By The Bell
* Weekend
* Farmer Ferdinand Hudson
* Lord Bless All
* Most Of My Life
* One Million Years

Album Notes
* "One Million Years" was not originally part of the album, but was added to the German LP and as well as the CD release.
* The released version of "Farmer Ferdinand Hudson" is a mere fragment of a much longer orchestral piece entitled "Hudson's Fallen Wind." Fortunately, a recording of the full-length piece managed to escape into the collector's circuit, unfortunately marred by several instances of a skipping needle.
* Much to Barry's dismay, Maurice contributed bass and (allegedly) piano to this album.

"Sing Slowly Sisters"

Polydor, 1970 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Life
* I've Been Hurt
* Irons In The Fire
* Cold Be My Days
* Avalanche

Side 2
* Make Believe
* All's Well That Ends Well
* A Very Special Day
* Sky West And Crooked
* Sing Slowly Sisters
* C'est La Vie, Au Revoir

Album Notes
* This is believed to have been the tracklist, though it's possible that a final lineup was never agreed upon.
* Bootleg versions add a number of extra tracks, some of which are actually ROBIN'S REIGN outtakes.

1983 - "How Old Are You?"

Polydor, 1983

Side 1
* Juliet
* How Old Are You
* In And Out Of Love
* Kathy's Gone
* Don't Stop The Night

Side 2
* Another Lonely Night In New York
* Danger
* He Can't Love You
* Hearts On Fire
* I Believe In Miracles

Album Notes
* Maurice also appears on this album - he can be heard singing the 'close your eyes' section of "Juliet."
* The entire album also exists in demo form, which (naturally) was released as a bootleg.

1984 - "Secret Agent"

Polydor, 1984

Side 1
* Boys Do Fall In Love
* In Your Diary
* Robot
* Rebecca
* Secret Agent

Side 2
* Living In Another World
* X-Ray Eyes
* King Of Fools
* Diamonds

Album Notes
* The lead off single, "Boys Do Fall In Love" reached the Top 40 in the US.

1985 - "Walls Have Eyes"

Polydor, 1985

Side 1
* You Don't Say Us Anymore
* Like A Fool
* Heartbeat In Exile
* Remedy
* Toys

Side 2
* Someone To Believe In
* Gone With The Wind
* These Walls Have Eyes
* Possession
* Do You Love Her?

Album Notes
* Despite being credited solely to Robin, this album is a Bee Gees disc in all but name, as both Maurice and Barry also appear.
* This album was also released with an alternative running order.

2003 - "Magnet"

SPV, 2003

* Please
* Wait Forever
* Wish You Were Here
* No Doubt
* Special
* Inseparable
* Don't Rush
* Watching You
* Earth Angel
* Another Lonely Night In New York
* Love Hurts

Album Notes
* "Wish You Were Here" and "Another Lonely Night In New York" are newly-recorded remakes.
* At one time Robin considered repackaging the album as "Magnet, Version 2.0"
* A 3-disc "Tour Edition" was released in 2005 on Evolution, which contained the "Magnet" CD on disc 1, the audio soundtrack of "Robin Gibb With The Neue Philharmonic Frankfurt Orchestra - Live" concert on disc 2, and the video for "Please" and an interview on the DVD disc 3. Note that disc 2 had the audio soundtrack of the concert taken directly from the DVD, rather than from the (edited) CD version that has also been released.

2005 - "Live"

Eagle, 2005

* Night Fever
* I've Gotta Get A Message To You
* How Deep Is Your Love
* Nights On Broadway
* Love Hurts
* Massachusetts
* My Lover's Prayer
* New York Mining Disaster 1941
* Please
* Saved By The Bell
* To Love Somebody
* Words
* You Win Again
* Juliet
* Tragedy
* Jive Talkin'
* Stayin' Alive

Album Notes
* Widely believed to be the single worst album to be released by a Bee Gee, due to a disastrous mix that nearly renders Robin's vocals inaudible.

2006 - "My Favorite Christmas Carols"

Edel, 2006

* Mother Of Love
* In The Bleak Midwinter
* O Come All Ye Faithful
* Silent Night
* God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
* Good King Wenceslas
* Away In A Manger
* Once In Royal David's City
* I Saw Three Ships
* Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
* The First Noel
* Come Some Christmas Eve Or Halloween
* _gv. "Ellan Vannin"
* Christmas Medley

Album Notes
* Only the original German release had fourteen tracks; later releases are mysteriously missing "Mother Of Love", "Come Some Christmas Eve Or Halloween", _gv. "Ellan Vannin", and the closing medley.
* "The First Noel" has been partially rewritten as an anti-war protest ballad.
* "Come Some Christmas Eve Or Halloween" is actually the original Bee Gees recording from 1968, which also appeared in the "Studio Albums 1967-68" boxed set.
* The title of the US release was shortened to "My Favorite Carols", and credited to 'Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees.'
* All editions feature a bonus video, which includes an interview with Robin and footage from the album's recording sessions.

Maurice's solo career

"The Loner"

Polydor, 1970 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Journey To The Misty Mountains
* The Loner
* Please Lock Me Away
* I've Come Back
* Soldier Johnny
* She's The One You Love

Side 2
* Railroad
* Laughing Child
* Something's Blowing
* Silly Little Girl
* Insight

Album Notes
* Never released due to the failure of its lead-off single, "Railroad."
* A well-known Japanese bootleg of the album exists in very poor quality. However, a digitally remastered version (renamed HOLD HER IN YOUR HAND) emerged recently, which also features remastered versions of many of the bonus tracks that were included on the Japanese disc.

"A Breed Apart" (OST)

Audiotrax, 1984 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Hold Her In Your Hand
* A Breed Apart
* Jim's Theme
* Solitude
* The Intruders

Side 2
* On Time
* Mike And The Mountain
* Adam's Dream
* A Touch Apart
* The Breed Apart
* Hold Her In Your Hand (instrumental)

Album Notes
* Though this album never appeared, "Hold Her In Your Hand" was released as a single.
* Except for "Hold Her In Your Hand" and "On Time", the album is a collection of Maurice's instrumental pieces composed for the film's score.

Barry's solo career

"The Kid's No Good"

Polydor, 1970 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Mando Bay
* One Bad Thing
* The Day Your Eyes Meet Mine
* Happiness
* Peace In My Mind
* Clyde O'Reilly

Side 2
* I Just Wanna Take Care Of You
* I'll Kiss Your Memory
* The Victim
* This Time
* What's It All About
* Born

Album Notes
* No definite title is known, but this is the title constantly given to Barry's 1970 album.
* This is most likely the intended lineup (though some sources swap "Mando Bay" and "Born"); however, bootleg versions add a number of extraneous bonus tracks. It seems obvious that "Born" was intended to be the final track, as it ends with a long, anthemic ending that would've made an appropriate finale to the LP.
* Despite a bootleg claiming to be on the Polydor label, no official CD release has appeared as of yet.
* "I'll Kiss Your Memory" and "This Time" were released on a single, which failed to chart.

1984 - "Now Voyager"

Polydor, 1984

Side 1
* I Am Your Driver
* Fine Line
* Face To Face
* Shatterproof
* Shine Shine

Side 2
* Lesson In Love
* One Night (For Lovers)
* Stay Alone
* Temptation
* She Says
* The Hunter

Album Notes
* To tie in with the album, Barry filmed a short film based on its songs, also titled "Now Voyager." This film is currently available as a Region 2 DVD.
* 'Shine Shine' reached the Top 40 in the US and the Top 10 in Adult Contemporary Charts.

"Moonlight Madness"

Polydor, 1986 (unreleased)

Side 1
* Moonlight Madness
* My Eternal Love
* System Of Love
* Where Tomorrow Is
* In Search Of Love
* Cover You

Side 2
* The Savage Is Loose
* Not In Love At All
* Words Of A Fool
* Distant Strangers
* Change
* Letting Go

Album Notes
* Also known as WHEN TOMORROW COMES and MY ETERNAL LOVE.
* Several songs would later appear on the HAWKS soundtrack.
* A bootleg version exists, titled THE ORIGINAL HAWKS. This disc features the entire unreleased album, as well as a number of bonus tracks.

1988 - "Hawks" (OST)

Polydor, 1988

* System Of Love
* Childhood Days
* My Eternal Love
* Moonlight Madness
* Where Tomorrow Is
* Celebration De La Vie (Theme From 'Hawks')
* Chain Reaction
* Cover You
* Not In Love At All
* Letting Go

Album Notes
* The final incarnation of the unreleased MOONLIGHT MADNESS album.
* "Chain Reaction" is performed by Diana Ross.

2006 - "The Eaten Alive Demos"

private, 1985 / iTunes, 2006

* Oh Teacher
* Experience
* More And More
* I'm Watching You
* Love On The Line
* (I Love) Being In Love With You
* Crime Of Passion
* Don't Give Up On Each Other

Album Notes
* Recorded as a guideline for Diana Ross.
* Released on iTunes in 2006 as "The Eatin Alive Demos". The spelling of "Eaten" was later corrected.
* Notable for their absences are "Eaten Alive" and "Chain Reaction". Though a demo exists, the album's title track was not included as the song is currently the property of its co-author, Michael Jackson. And Barry and Albhy Galuten did not send any demo of "Chain Reaction" to Diana Ross, and evidently Barry did not want to release whatever work tape they had of it.

2006 - "The Guilty Demos"

private, 1979 (unreleased) / iTunes, 2006

* Guilty
* Woman In Love
* Run Wild
* Promises
* The Love Inside
* What Kind Of Fool
* Life Story
* Make It Like A Memory
* Carried Away
* Secrets

Album Notes
* Recorded as a guideline for Barbra Streisand.
* Finally released on iTunes in 2006 as "The Guilty Demos."
* A demo of "Never Give Up" was also recorded, but remains unreleased.
* "Carried Away" and "Secrets" were not used on Barbra's version.

2006 - The "Eyes That See in the Dark" Demos

private, 1983 (unreleased) / iTunes, 2006

* This Woman
* You And I
* Buried Treasure
* Islands In The Stream
* Living With You
* Evening Star
* Hold Me
* Midsummer Nights
* I Will Always Love You
* Eyes That See In The Dark

Album Notes
* Recorded as a guideline for Kenny Rogers.
* Released on iTunes in 2006 as "The Eyes That See In The Dark Demos."
* Strangely, Barry's solo version of "Islands in the Stream" was passed up when the song was chosen for inclusion on the 2001 compilation, THE RECORD. (Instead, Robin and Maurice, sans Barry, recorded a brand new version.)

2006 - The "Heartbreaker" Demos

private, 1982 (unreleased) / iTunes, 2006

* Heartbreaker
* It Makes No Difference
* Yours
* Take The Short Way Home
* Misunderstood
* All The Love In The World
* I Can't See Anything (But You)
* Just One More Night
* You Are My Love

Album Notes
* Recorded as a guideline for Dionne Warwick.
* Released on iTunes in 2006 as "The Heartbreaker Demos."

"Guilty Pleasures"

private, 2005 (unreleased) / Barry Gibb Radio, 2006

* Come Tomorrow
* Stranger In A Strange Land
* Hideaway
* It's Up To You
* Night Of My Life
* Above The Law
* Without Your Love
* All Our Children
* Golden Dawn

Album Notes
* Recorded as a guideline for Barbra Streisand.
* As of yet, the full-length demos have not been released. All nine songs appeared on the online Barry Gibb Radio as two or three minute fragments, with a fade at each end.
* Two songs are missing from the above tracklist - '(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away' and 'Letting Go'. As both songs were previously released, no new demos were necessary.

* This was Andy's final studio album.

crapped ideas

"Modulating Maurice" [Maurice and Ringo Starr]

unknown label, 1969

Included
* Modulating Maurice

Album Notes
* In early 1969, Maurice contributed spoken-word 'vocals' (in fact, just random phrases) to a bizarre synthesizer album that was being recorded by his neighbor, Ringo Starr. Nothing ever became of it, and it is rumored that the recordings no longer exist.
* Despite popular belief, the track "Modulating Maurice" has not been bootlegged. (Bootleggers attempted to be clever by giving this title to an unreleased Bee Gees song from 1970, actually entitled "To Dance Again.")

"Love Songs"

Polydor 1995

Album Notes
* The Bee Gees recorded Emotion and Heartbreaker for the first time and were to be part of an album of all love songs, but that project never materialized and those songs wouldn't be available until 2001 on the compilation album .
* Universal Records released a Love Songs album in 2005 which included both of these recordings.
