Warlord UK are a death metal band from Birmingham, England. Formed in 1992, the original line up consisted of Mark White (bass guitar, vocals), Andrew 'Bear' Stone (guitar), Michael Gorst (guitar) and a drum machine. They eventually recruited a human drummer Neil Hutton and then later Neil Farrington and recorded one album for Nuclear Blast, which featured Dave Ingram. After a very successfull european tour with benediction so good infact it brought on the end of warlord due to the fact over in europe the death metal fans were mad for it so much one of the gigs in germany warlord were doing there sound check and darren from benediction got marks attention and pointed out side where about 20 young lads were moshing in the court yard at four oclock in the afternoon as warlord blasted out maximum carnage,this was a fantastic reaction but back home it was not the same,warlord did ok but they knew that they needed to keep doing europe like the benny boys did but with full time jobs and family commitments as bear had soon after had a son it was hard just to drop everything and go to europe,plus fed up with the love you one minute not the next from metal fans in england at the time was wearing warlord down,one gig mark snarled at the crowd ARE YOU INTO THIS MUSIC OR IS IT A FASHION TO YA !! the crowd did wake up after that but soon after warlord brought warlord to an end .......................BUT OF AUGUST 2008 WARLORD OR SO BE IT WARLORD UK ARE BACK!!!!
