History
Atlantic Express was a trading name for Atlantic Air Transport Limited part of the Air Atlantique Group. Its main base is at Coventry Airport and it operated a scheduled service between Jersey and London Stansted Airport using ATR-42 aircraft.
Atlantic Air Transport Limited holds a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Type A Operating Licence, it is permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats. [ [http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=183&pagetype=90&pageid=340 Operating Licence] ]
The airline operated flights from Jersey to London Stansted between 27 May 2006 and 15 Jan 2007.
As off the collapse in 2007 all five aircraft remain parked at [Jersey International Airport] , bar one which KMG Cargo now operate.
