Administrative Zone 4 (Afar)

Administrative Zone 4 is one of five Zones of the Afar Region of Ethiopia; none of the zones of Afar have names. This zone is bordered on the south and east by Administrative Zone 1, on the west by the Amhara Region, and on the north by Administrative Zone 2. The largest town in Zone 4 is Dibina.

Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this zone has an estimated total population of 156,997, of whom 85,656 were males and 71,341 were females; 2,563 or 1.6% of its population are urban dwellers.
