Umm Khalid

Umm Khalid ( _ar. أم خالد) was an ancient site in the central coastline of what is now the city of Netanya, Israel. It was populated since the Hellenistic period. A jewish village was in place until The first Jewish-Roman War (years 66–73 CE).
In the 18th century, a small Arab village existed in this location. The entire village (roughly 500) was relocated by the British army to a refuge camp named Tulkarm, 10 km to the east due to the short coming war started by the Arab neighboring countries.
