Both the undergraduate and graduate programs offer dual degree options with many other schools and colleges across Boston University.

The BU School of Management enrolls 1,748 undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), 364 Full-time MBA, 406 Part-time MBA, 61 Executive MBA, and 50 DBA students. Rafik B. Hariri Building

Located at 595 Commonwealth Avenue, The Rafik B. Hariri Building, commonly called SMG, opened in 1996 and contains 25 classrooms, a 375-seat lecture hall, five computer labs, and The Frederick S. Pardee Management Library. The building offers wireless Internet throughout in addition to 4,000 wired dataports. Also in the building is a Breadwinners Deli and a fully wired Starbucks Café, with data ports at many tables.

The Hariri Building is named after the late former Prime Minister of Lebanon and former Trustee of Boston University, Rafik Hariri. Having sent two sons to Boston University, Hariri's philanthropic foundation made a generous donation for the construction of the new building. The Hariri Building also contains 16 team rooms available only for School of Management (undergrad) and Graduate School of Management students to hold team meetings. Graduate School of Management

The Graduate School of Management (GSM) is a part of the University's School of Management and offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA), an MBA combined with a Master of Science in Information Systems (MS-MBA), a Master of Science in Investment Management (MSIM), and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. MBA degrees are also offered with concentrations in Public & Non-Profit Management and Health Sector Management (which can also be studied as part of the unique MS-MBA program), and an International Management Program (IMP) MBA.

Annual International Tech Strategy Business Case Competition

The Boston University School of Management hosts the annual International Tech Strategy Business Case Competition every spring semester. The third annual competition, held in spring 2008, was sponsored by Ericsson and included teams from 16 schools around the world. The case competition is by invitation only and open to only one team per school. Schools that took part in the 2008 competition were the Boston University School of Management; EGADE; Eller College of Management (University of Arizona); Harvard Business School; Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; University of Navarra (Spain), Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta), Northwestern University, Queen's School of Business (Ontario, Canada), Seoul National University (Korea), MIT Sloan School of Management (2007 winners), and Stockholm School of Economics. Stanford Graduate School of Business won top prize, Kenan-Flagler Business School (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) placed second, London Business School came in third, and McCombs School of Business (University of Texas at Austin) followed in fourth. The prizes for first, second, third, and fourth place, respectively, were $25,000, $15,000, $5,000, and $2500. The second annual case competition, held in 2007, was won by a team from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Kellogg Graduate School of Management placed second, followed by Stanford Graduate School of Business and Queen's University. Competing teams in 2007 were: Boston University School of Management; Eller College of Management (University of Arizona); Kellogg Graduate School of Management; Kenan-Flagler Business School (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill); Indian Institute of Management; London Business School; McCombs School of Business (University of Texas at Austin); Queen’s University; Seoul National University; MIT Sloan School of Management; and Stanford Graduate School of Business.

International Management Program

The BU Graduate School of Management International Management Program (IMP) is a 14 month MBA which begins in May in China, first in Beijing then to Shanghai. The program continues in the fall in Boston. The intensive program immerses students in the ways of Asian commerce and culture in order to gain a more global business perspective. A key component of the program is visits to major Chinese corporations along with historical and cultural sites. GSM students, faculty and staff live together in the same student housing facilities.
