Calvary Christian School is a private school located in Covington, Kentucky. It is part of Calvary Baptist Church. It has approximately 600 students from Preschool to 12th grade.

History

Calvary was founded in November 1973 under the leadership of Galen Call. 63 students in grades 1-4 began the school year, soon to be joined by 35 Kindergarten students one week later. Soon 65 acres were acquired south of Latonia on Taylor Mill Road. Ground breaking occurred on July 7, 1974. The building was completed in 1976.

Sports

Calvary's Sports team is called the Calvary Cougars. They have many different sports to play in, these are the ones at the current moment volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, golf, tennis, swimming and softball.
