Jarrad Matthew Page (born October 19, 1984) is an American football safety with the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League.

Early years

Page grew up in San Leandro, California, attending Bancroft Middle School and San Leandro High School, where he was the top safety for the SLHS team. Accessed November 20, 2007.] He also played baseball, and was selected twice in the MLB Draft before beginning his NFL career. He played for UCLA in his collegiate career.

Pro career

Page signed a 3-year contract with the Chiefs after being drafted in the 7th round (228th overall pick) of the 2006 NFL Draft and is currently their starting free safety.Page made his first NFL interception in . By making a game-saving pick against the Oakland Raiders, the Chiefs saved their season and improved to 6-4. The pass from Aaron Brooks was intended for Randy Moss. If completed, the pass would have given the Raiders the win over the Chiefs. The Chiefs won 17-13 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Another highlight of his career was his first playoff interception in the in a 23-8 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He intercepted a Peyton Manning pass deep in Chiefs territory to save his team at least 3 points.

Nicknamed "The Raider Killer" by Chiefs fans, Page has intercepted four balls against the Oakland Raiders dating back to his 2006 rookie season. Three of them have been in the red zone, and three of them have been game-winners, saving the Chiefs from a potential game-winning/tying drive. Counting the 2006 postseason (an interception against Peyton Manning in the Wildcard Round, the Chiefs ended up losing 23-8), five of Page's six career interceptions have been in the red zone.

Page also clocked another Manning interception on Sunday, November 18th, 2007. The Chiefs eventually lost 13 to 10.
