Paul McLoone (born 11 February 1967 in Derry, Northern Ireland), is the current singer of Irish pop-punk band The Undertones. He replaced Feargal Sharkey when the band reunited for a series of festival appearances in 1999. Biography

He has recorded two studio albums with the band, "Get What You Need" (2003) and Dig Yourself Deep (2007). The Undertones' live following remains strong, with most fans fully accepting McLoone as the band's new frontman. McLoone was producer for Ireland's Today FM show, "Pet Sounds" which runs 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Monday to Thursday nights, and which was formerly presented by Tom Dunne. In September 2008 McLoone became presenter of this show following Dunne's departure to present a morning show on rival radio station Newstalk.
