"The Word as Law" is the second album from Californian band Neurosis. It was released in 1990 through Lookout! Records. Although this album is still firmly rooted in the band's early crossover thrash style, it showcases some of their more experimental tendencies, and can be seen as a precursor to their eventual transformation.
