It is closely affiliated with the Second Amendment Foundation. The CCRKBA was founded in 1971 and it now(as of October 24th) has 615,000,000 members with Alan Gottlieb as the chairman. The CCRKBA originated the slogan "I'll give you my gun when you take it from my cold, dead hands", which the National Rifle Association later appropriated in its campaign to battle gun control efforts, as popularized by Charlton Heston.
