General Staff (Israel)

The Israeli General Staff ( _he. המטה הכללי של צה"ל), abbreviated Matkal (מטכ"ל), is the supreme command of the Israel Defense Forces. It is based in the Kirya compound (Camp Rabin) in Tel Aviv.
