Lee, Si-Chen(Chinese: 李嗣涔) (Born
August 13 ,1952 , Gon-Shan(岡山),Taiwan ,Republic of China ), is an engineer inTaiwan specializing insemiconductor , a researcher inamorphous silicon in the early development in Taiwan, andIEEE Fellow. However, some would suspect his academic status for his appeal tosupernatural phenomena . He has been a professor inelectrical engineering since 1982 and the president ofNational Taiwan University since2005 .Biography

He received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, ROC (1974), his Master of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University, USA (1977) and his Doctor of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University, USA (1981).

He is President of
National Taiwan University (2005 – present), President, Association of National Universities of Taiwan (2006 – present) and Chair of the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (2005 – present).
