Power Stone

Edward Falcon

Power Stone : Power

nihongo|Edward Falcon|エドワード・フォッカ|Edowādo Fokka, known as Fokker in the Japanese version, is the main character of Power Stone. Falcon is age 21, weighs 160 pounds, measures 5'11" and has a fighting style of boxing. He is the son of Pride Falcon, who is playable in Power Stone 2 after unlocking him. He is from Londo (a reference to London). When in Power Change, he is known as the Red Whirlwind. Falcon's Japanese name is a reference to the Fokker, the plane he is seen in. This was possibly removed in the English version because of the inappropriate puns that would follow. His Power Change is a similar hybrid to Iron Man.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Homing Missile: Falcon launches a small missile from his arm that flies towards the closest opponent. This attack does decent damage and usually requires the opponent to run around a lot to try to avoid it.

Flaming Tornado: Falcon engulfs him self in flames and then spins at an extremely high rate of speed. If anyone is very close to you, they get sucked in and get hit many times by this attack. This attack deals good damage, but is useless if nobody is around you.

Power Fusions

Missile Armageddon: Falcon begins to glow and then launches many small missiles out of his body. This attack is more useful if it is executed in the air. The missiles track down the opponent and swarm them. Each consecutive hit by a missile does more damage, and due to this, it is possible to bring your opponent's health to dangerously low levels simply by aiming this attack correctly. However, with skill, this attack can be dodged like his regular missiles.

Comet Striker: Falcon glows and turns into a glowing ball of energy, and then shoots around the arena like a comet. Anybody who contacts him is instantly "stuck" to him and receives large amounts of combo damage. With good aim, you can heavily damage someone if you repeatedly strike them again and again until the attack ends.

Anime

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, he was voiced by Robert Tinkler.

Also in the anime, Falcon seems to be from Sun Land, he likes Rouge too, and so does Ryoma.

In the anime, Edward Falcon goes on a journey to find his father Pride Falcon. In the first few episodes at Sun Land, his father sends him a Power stone, which he learns how to use. He also meets Ryoma, who wants to fight Falcon, and Rouge, a fortune teller. Octo and Pus, called the Octopus Twins, are after Falcon's Power Stone. He later meets Ayame and her big brother, who is disguised as a girl, who are also after the power stone. Rouge then tells Falcon to travel on a journey to go around the world, Sun Land, Wood Land, Fire Land, Gold Land, Dark Land, Soil Land. Falcon likes Rouge, although Ayame likes him, and Rouge likes Ryoma but not Falcon. In the first Power Stone game, Falcon obtains the Power Stone he was searching for and as the cave crumbles, Pride catches him on his plane. However, Falcon drops the Power Stone, and blames it on Pride and his 'sloppy driving'.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Hailing from the town of Londo, noble Falcon circles the world in his beloved "Hockenheim" airplane, searching for the Power Stones revealed in an ancient artifact passed down through his family. Always a gentleman with a strong sense of justice, he has trained in boxing and vanquishes evil with sharp moves and explosive punches

Character Analysis

Falcon is the main character and is an all around character, so he doesn't have any bothering weaknesse. In the the anime, Falcon's weakness is his niave behavior concerning his own beliefs. In Power Stone Collection, Falcon unlocks the Soccer Ball. In the anime, there was one incident when Apollis, his butler suddenly Power Changed while protecting Falcon's Power Stone from Valgas' minions.

Rouge

Power Stone : Fire

nihongo|Rouge|ルージュ|Rūju is a fortune teller from the town of Mahdad (reference to Baghdad). Rouge is age 23, weighs 105 pounds, measures 5'6" and has a Gypsy Dancing fighting style. When in Power Change, she is known as the Scorching Beauty. Her design looks similar to Pullum from the Street Fighter EX series.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Flame Breath: Rouge will reel back and blow a jet of flames out of her mouth. This is a fairly effective attack, as it has good range, and can trap opponents to allow you to set them up in a powerful combo.

Flame Rain: If Rouge executes her Flame Breath attack in the air, she will rain fireballs down on the ground under her. Not as ranged as Flame Breath, but is useful if your opponent is trying to come at you.

Magic Carpet: Rouge rises up off the ground and flies around for a few seconds on top of a magic carpet. Not a very damaging attack, and is very difficult to actually hit anyone with it. However, it is useful for moving quickly across a stage to catch up to fleeing opponents.

Power Fusions

Inferno: Rouge leaps in the air and shoots a burst of flames into the ground, lighting most of the stage on fire. This is a very damaging attack, and is hard to avoid, but on larger stages your opponents might have time to get out of the way. Usually deals heavy damage if you manage to catch your opponent in the flames.

Kiss of Death: Rouge blows kisses, represented by large glowing hearts, while dancing around the arena. If any of the hearts touch an opponent, she will stop dancing and grab hold of them. Two large curtains will then begin spinning around her and the opponent as she slaps them silly, finishing with a large smash attack. This attack is useful, but you must get close to the opponent if you want it to be effective.

Fire Demon: If you execute the Kiss of Death attack in the air, the attack begins a completely new, albeit more powerful one. She raises her hands in the air while airborne and summons a giant red demonic skull with glowing eyes. As the skull hovers above her it quickly grows larger and larger until it begins launching huge, meteor-like fireballs around the stage. This is a devastating attack in that the Fire Demon usually aims before it fires rather than just going off randomly, meaning that if you are juxtaposed properly, your opponent will be in for a world of hurt. This completely replaces Kiss of Death in Power Stone 2.

Anime

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, she was voiced by Stacey DePass.

Rouge is a fortune teller from Fire Land, she meets Falcon in the first episode of the anime. Rouge likes Ryoma, but Falcon likes Rouge too. Rouge was raised by an oracle named Mistress Ganna. When she travels to Fire Land, her crystal ball reveals itself to be a power stone. Like Ryoma and Ayame, she travels along with Falcon on his quest.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Rouge the Gypsy fortuneteller is exotic, with a mysterious, refined presence. Guided by signs in her crystal ball, she is dancing her way around the world in a search for the famed Power Stones. Even in the battle arena her graceful moves look more like dancing than fighting. She can wield fire as easily and naturally as her own arms and legs, putting the heat on any opponent who stands in her way.

Character Analysis

Rouge is one of the faster chacters. Rouge is fast like Ayame, but a little slower and stronger. Because she is fast she is able to avoid attacks easier. Because she has long range Power Drives and powerful Power Fusion, she may be a top tier character. In Power Stone Collection, she unlocks the Crystal Ball. In the first game, she wanted the Power Stone so that, as she puts it, would "bring happiness to people over the world."

Wang-Tang

Power Stone : Light

nihongo|Wang-Tang|ワンタン|Wantan is from the town of Tong-An. Wang Tang is age 19, weighs 123 pounds, measures 5'5". It should be noted that when Wang Tang picks up an item, he says "lucky", where the other characters in Power Stone speak Japanese. Wang Tang's Power Fusion resembles moves from a Super Saiyan from Dragonball Z. He is known as the Agile Dragon when in Power Change.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Dragon Fireball: WangTang quickly charges up and fires a glowing fireball. This attack is easy to aim, and is a good way to rack up damage. It has been compared to Ryu (Street Fighter)'s "Hadoken" attack from the Street Fighter series. It has also been compared to Goku's signature attack, the "Kamehameha", from the Dragon Ball series.

Dragon Tornado: WangTang will spin rapidly in place, causing a tornado to appear. Nearby opponents will be sucked in and receive many hits, but only minor damage. Useless unless enemies are within range of its suction abilities, or of the attack itself.

Power Fusions

Extreme Dragon Fireball: WangTang raises his hands above his head and begins forming an enormous ball of energy. The size and damage of this attack depends entirely on the amount of energy that you have left in your power meter. Once the ball has reached its maximum size, WangTang hurls directly at the opponent, resulting in a cataclysmic explosion. The damage this attack deals is only as big as the amount of energy you have, meaning that if you do this attack at full power, expect to see your opponent's health drop significantly. This attack has been compared to another of Goku's signature attacks, the "Spirit Bomb", from the Dragon Ball series.

Dance of the Dragon God: WangTang dashes forward at an extremely high rate of speed. If he fails to hit anyone, the attack ends. If he manages to connect with an opponent, he will deliver a massive blow, sending them sailing into the air. Once they are in the air, he will seemingly stop time as he mercilessly pummels the opponent with hundreds of punches and kicks. Upon the cessation of the physical assault, he jump onto the opponent and slam them hard into the ground, at which point four Japanese Kanji symbols will appear on-screen. This attacks large amounts of damage and can easily K.O. opponents whose health bars are at half or lower. This attack has been compared to the stylized, superhuman-esque martial arts fighting seen in the Dragon Ball series.

Anime

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, Wang-Tang was voiced by Peter Oldring.

In the anime, Wang-Tang is a cook in Wood Land. He trains at Manpuku temple, he does not travel with Falcon and has many absences in the anime.

Power Stone Collection Bio

A master martial artist from the town of Tong-Ang, Wangtang follows his master's instructions for his final test: collect the legendary stones that shine like no other jewels in the world. Roaming the world in search of the Power Stones, and testing his skills along the way, Wangtang's optimistic personality belies his deadly martial art skills.

Character Analysis

Wang-Tang's attacks look similar to Kung-Fu. He is another fast character, but is a little weak in strength, and has low defence. His Power Change meter is consumed very quickly, but he may be a high tier character. In Power Stone Collection, he unlocks the Twin Potion. In the first game, when he finds what he thinks is the Power Stone, when he shows it to his master, it is revealed to be golden false teeth. Wang-Tang's master then sends him to find the Power Stone again.

Ryoma

Power Stone : Thunder

nihongo|Ryoma|リョーマ|Ryōma is from the town of Mutsu (reference to Mutsu). Ryoma is age 19, weighs 134 pounds, measures 5'7". When in Power Change, he is known as the Master Swordsman which could be seen as a composite of the Silver Samurai and the Ronin Warriors.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Raijinken (Streaks of Lightning): Ryoma will vertically swing his sword, unleashing three lightning bolts which crash down in front of him. This attack can hit three times if you aim it well, and can deal decent damage too.

Ball Lightning: If the Raijinken is used in the air, rather than on the ground, the attack changes entirely. He swings his sword vertically, and unleashes a large ball of electricity that chases the enemy down. It is similar to Valgas' "Shock Kick" power drive.

Iazen (Final Draw): Ryoma will sheath his katana. Pressing the attack button again will causes him to draw his sword out extremely fast. A small slash mark will appear in front of him and flash, suddenly making a huge rush of energy shoot straight outwards in a line from your attack. This attack can deal heavy damage if you manage to repeatedly strike them with it.

Aerial Iazen: If you use this attack in the air, he will perform it diagonal to the ground, making a large burst of energy explode out of the ground under him, rather than in front of him.

Power Fusions

Midare Zantou (Flying Slashes): Ryoma will surround himself with a golden aura and begin wildly swinging his sword. With each swing, a golden crescent will come flying off of it and go outwards in a pattern. If the opponent gets caught within this pattern of slices, they will receive massive amounts of damage.

Tenchi Raidou (Finishing Lightning): Ryoma will engulf his body in electricity and begin somersaulting upwards while swinging his sword around him. When he reaches his peak, he stops spinning and slams his sword into the ground, making a huge bolt of lightning hit the stage. The lightning bolt creates a large static discharge which engulfs most of the stage, making this attack hard to avoid. If you manage to get the opponent trapped in the start-up of this devastating attack, their chances of surviving are slim, even if they have a decent amount of health remaining prior to the attack.

Anime

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, he was voiced by Eddie Glen.

In the anime, Ryoma is from Moon land, and always wants to fight with Falcon. He travels along with Edward Falcon in his quest. He and Ayame are afraid of spiders. Ryoma likes Rouge and she likes him too, but at the end of the series he returns to his training to let Rouge be the new oracle of her town.
In the game, he is the only character who does not use the Power Stone in the ending, destroying the artifact and then setting off on a world tour.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Originally a low-level warrior from an island nation, Ryoma soon ran out of worthy opponents with whom to test his might. He set out on a rowboat journey to find a new place to roam. He gives his all to everything he does. When faced with evil he does not hesitate a moment to cut it down.

Character Analysis

Ryoma has a samurai fighting style. He is the second character who attacks with a weapon when not in Power Change. Ryoma has a long range with his katana and has decent speed but when he misses an attack, he is open to attack. His Power Drives attack can be chained, but consumes a lot of his Power Change meter. His tier may be high. In Power Stone Collection, he unlocks the Amenomurakuno.

Ayame

Power Stone : Water

nihongo|Ayame|あやめ|Ayame is a ninja from the town of Oedo (reference to Edo). Ayame is age 16, weighs 93 pounds, measures 5'2". Her power drives and fusions involve shurikens. When in Power Change, she is known as the Cherry Blossom Dancer.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

*Flower Shuriken: Throws three shurikens at the opponent.
*Cherry Blossom Hide: (Removed in Power Stone 2)
*Hundred Flower Bloom (power fusion): Ayame grabs the shuriken on her back, spins once, multiplying it, then hurls it around, with each individual shuriken bouncing off the walls, and sometimes homing on the opponent. This move is one of the hardest moves to avoid.
*Cherry Blossom Dance (power Fusion): Launches at the opponent and attacks in a combo (Removed in Power Stone 2).
*Come Forth Rain (anime only): spins her giant shuriken in her hands to control the weather.
*Hundred Flower Power (power Fusion): Only used in Power Stone 2, she jumps high and attacks with neddle-like flowers. Pushing buttons during the attack will increase the number of needles she throws. Also, the player can control the direction she throws them in.

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, she was voiced by Stephanie Morgenstern.

In the anime, she was an entertainer and was after Falcon's Power Stone. Ayame is from Moon Land, like Ryoma. She has a big brother named Kikonojo, who dresses like a woman, and who seems to like Falcon. After Ayame tells Falcon that she was after his Power Stone, her brother stops dressing like a woman. At the start of the anime while in Moon Land, she shows off an amazing ability to control water in all its forms. Ayame seems to like Falcon. In the first game, Ayame, and her family wanted the Power Stone all for themselves, so they give their lord a boulder instead.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Officially, Ayame is the energetic star artiste in a traveling troupe. Secretly she is descended from a ninja family and is herself a master ninja who can toy with her foes with daring feats of acrobatic grace. On a secret mission from her master, she is on a quest to acquire the legendary Power Stones.

Character Analysis

Ayame has a ninjitsu fighting style. She is the fastest character, but also the weakest characters (shown by how she throws objects very slowly), and her defense is the lowest in the first game. Her fusion moves are a strong point, as they are both fast and powerful. In Power Stone 2, she became a little stronger. In Power Stone Collection, she unlocks the Decoy Bomb.

Jack

Power Stone : Power

nihongo|Jack|ジャック|Jakku's age is unknown. It is rumored that he could be around 40 years old, but the anime has mentioned he is over 100 years old. He weighs 112 pounds, measures 6'3" and has an original fighting style. He and Ryoma are the only two characters in the original Power Stone who wield a weapon. Jack is from the town of Manches (reference to Manchester). He is likely a reference to Jack the Ripper (a poster in his ending calls him "Jack the Slayer". When in Power Change, he is known as the Mad Clown.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

*Rolling Slash: Uses his hand that has been transformed into a spinning blade that has a 11 combo (Removed in in Power Stone 2).
*Round Slash: Uses his feet to slash at the opponent, that has been transformed into a blade, with good range.
*Killer Dance: Spins unnaturally fast about 15 times, hovering upward. Is easy to dodge.
*Misery Rain: Pauses, then summons 10 swords that home on the opponent that are hard to dodge. When he uses this attack on ground, the swords came from the ground, still able to take damage if the opponent is close.

Anime

In the anime, Jack (Winslow) is chasing after Falcon's Power Stone, calling it his "lovely". It was revealed in the anime that his mother had a Power Stone like Falcon's, which is the reason why he wants Falcon's Power Stone. It was also revealed that Jack may be over 100 years old, and that he wears bandages because he was burned after his ship caught fire, killing his mother. Jack mistook Rouge for his mother once. At the end of the series, Jack finally gets his hands on Falcon's Power Stone, but is soon accepted by the gang as their friend. Afterwards, he lives with the animals in Dark Land. In the first game, he wanted the Power Stone so that he could wish for a duplicate of himself, so that he could still prowl the streets of Manches at night, while the duplicate remains in prison.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Jack makes no distinction between right and wrong. He only cares about pretty, shiny things, and cutting with his knife. In Manches, his hometown, he used to stop women and steal their shiny jewelry. But then one day he overheard a tale about the Power Stones, the most dazzling jewels in all the world, and he immediately set off to claim them for his own.

Character Analysis

Unlike all the other Power Stone characters, Jack crawls, so he can avoid many attacks. Jack's Killer Dance is hard to dodge, but can be avoided, giving the opponent a chance to attack him. In Power Stone Collection, he unlocks the Manches Chainsaw.

Galuda

Power Stone : Earth

nihongo|Galuda|ガルーダ|Garūda is from the town of Dullstown. Galuda is age 34, weighs 242 pounds, measures 6'7". When in Power Fusion, he is known as the Proud Eagle, in which he similar to a totem pole. His appearance is similar to that of Thunder Hawk from the game Super Street Fighter II.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Spirit Arrows: He quickly draws a bow and fires three glowing arrows outward in a triangular pattern. It has a long range and travels very quickly. Each arrow does decent damage, and can inflict heavier damage if all three arrows hit.

Wings of the Angels: He jumps in the air as two huge golden angel wings burst out of his back. He then flies toward whoever is closest to him and knocks them to the ground. This attack is not very strong, but is good for getting closer to opponents who run away from you.

Power Fusions

Arrows of the Heavens: Galuda draws a massive golden bow from his hands a draws a giant glowing arrow. He fires it into the sky, and within seconds many large golden arrows begin raining down on the stage. These deal enormous damage and can take away a good portion of your opponent's health, especially if they get trapped under the attack.

Heaven's Judgment: Galuda will sprout two huge golden wings from his back and shoot upward. This attack is useless unless your opponent is within throwing distance. If the attack connects, Galuda grabs the opponent, he flies off screen in a burst of light and then quickly reappears from above and slams the enemy head-first into the ground. This attack also deals enormous damage, and can actually K.O. your opponent if their health is at half or lower.

Anime

In the anime he is from Soil Land. Galuda was part of a tribe called the Soaring Eagles and had a sister. Lilica, the chief's daughter, was engaged to be married to Galuda, but due to an illness she got when they left what they used to call home, the wedding was postponed. His Power Stone was found at the top of the totem pole in his tribe's original homeland, which was taken over by settlers. Ever since that Power Stone was in that totem pole, peace and good health settled on Galuda's tribe and those who disrespected it were cursed. Soon, peace was made between the Soaring Eagle tribe and the people of Soil Town (which is now called Eagle Town). At the end of the series, Lilica and he finally get married.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Galuda lives in the Western wilds. He is a shaman with a tender heart and tomahawk-sharp intellect. To save his village from a mysterious disease, he is on a worldwide search for the Power Stones. Though he is a pacifist who abhors violence, Galuda has sworn revenge on the one-armed man who brought sickness to his village.

Character Analysis

Galuda is one of the more powerful characters and has decent speed to get around, unlike Gunrock. His Arrows of the Heavens power fusion is hard to aim, but is very damaging when done correctly. In the first Power Stone, his Heaven's Judgment power fusion was also hard to aim. It was removed in Power Stone 2. In Power Stone Collection, he unlocks the Totem Hammer.

Gunrock

Power Stone: Metal

nihongo|Gunrock|ガンロック|Ganrokku is from the town of Dawnvolta. He is age 38, weighs 440 pounds, measures 6'4". When in Power Change, he is known as the Heavy Tank which bears a resemblance to The Thing from the Fantastic Four.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Boulder Toss: Gunrock makes a huge boulder appear out of nowhere and hurls it at his opponent. It is damaging by itself, but more damage can be inflicted if you hit you opponent with the boulder as he picks it up to throw it. Since the attack has a slow start up, your opponents usually have time to move out of the way before you use it.

Sudden Tremor: Gunrock simply jumps and stomps the ground, making a shockwave. This attack only does damage if your opponent is standing on the ground. After the opponent is hit by the tremor, there is a very good chance that they will be stunned, giving you a good chance to attack them while they're vulnerable.

Power Fusions

Avalanche: Gunrock rolls into a ball and begins rolling around the stage, leaving clouds of dust and rocks in his wake. You have full control over where he rolls, so there is usually a decent chance that this attack will hit someone. It does decent damage per hit, but it can really rack up some hurt if you manage to corner your opponent in area where they can't dodge you.

Superquake: The same as Sudden Tremor, but much, much bigger. He slams the ground in a similar manner as Sudden Tremor, but after this attack, huge boulders to begin dropping out of the sky around you. Once again, this is also only effective if your opponents are on the ground.

Anime

In the anime he is from Gold Land and has five children. Gunrock wanted to marry Ayame's brother until he found his true gender, later Gunrock married a girl named Cassie, who originally liked Falcon, and had 3 more children with her. Like Wang Tang, Gunrock does not travel with Falcon and also has many absences in the anime. In the game, his bandanna is blue, but in the anime it is yellow. In the first game, he wanted the Power Stone so he could always win at poker (really cheating, as the Power Stone turns the cards he holds into a Royal Flush), and as he puts it "not be worried about payin' for drinks anymore!

Power Stone Collection Bio

This miner from Dawnbolta has nerves of solid steel and never gets upset. He is journeying to excavate the legendary Power Stones. In fighting, he relies on his unrivaled brute strength.

Character Analysis

Gunrock has a barroom brawler fighting style. He is the strongest character, but is also the slowest, making it hard to avoid attacks. He can throw very fast and has good range with his Power Drives. His Sudden Tremor and Superquake attacks can stun the opponent so they can't avoid it unless they jump first. In Power Stone Collection, he unlocks the Giant Boots.

Kraken

Power Stone : Water

nihongo|Kraken|クラケン|Kuraken is a pirate from Power Stone. He, like Valgas, is an unlockable character. Kraken is from a pirate ship in Skull Haven. Kraken's age is unknown, weighs 198 pounds, measures 6'11 and has a buccaneer fighting style. When in Power Change, he is known as Ghost Pirate. His name is a reference to the kraken, along with his nickname, King Octopus.

Power Drive and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Cannon Fire: The name says it all. He simply raises his huge cannon-like gun and fires a cannon ball out of it. The blast radius the cannon ball makes is about is not very large, but the upside of this attack is that is that it is fairly easy to aim at opponents with it, and it fires very quickly.

Grappling Hook: A very long range attack that has small effective use. He simply fires a glowing grappling hook out of his gun. If it connects to anything that is not an opponent, he flies over to it. If it connects to an opponent, they get stunned and he flies over to them and drop kicks them off of the end of it. Useful for moving around big stages quickly, but not very useful for dealing damage...

Power Fusions

Phantom's Wrath: He yells and several ghosts fly out from inside of him and chase down your opponents. Each consecutive hit deals more damage then the last, and they seem to follow your opponents around rather than just flying in their general direction. It is good to use this close to opponents, even though it is ranged, so that your opponent can get the maximum damage from this attack.

Phantom Feast: Similar to Kirby from Nintendo's "Kirby's Dreamland" series, Kraken inhales his opponents like a giant vacuum, and eats them. Unlike Kirby, who can copy his opponent's abilities, he does not copy anything. Instead he just mercilessly crunches the opponent in his huge jaws until the attack ends. This attack deals gigantic damage and can spell the end for any opponents whose health is at half or below.

Anime

In the anime produced by Lacey Entertainment, he was voiced by George Buza.

Kraken is after Falcon's power stone to make his dreams come true. Kraken's men are the Octopus twins, Octo and Pus, even though they are not identical twins. He had various powers including the power to control creatures that live in water (giant octopuses and sharks) or even close to it (crocodiles). He later on got hold of the Aqua Stone which allowed him to transform into Ghost Pirate.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Character Analysis

Valgas

Power Stone : Dark

nihongo|Valgas|バルガス|Barugasu is a character from Power Stone. He is from the island of Avalon Island. Valgas's age is unknown, weighs 264 pounds, measures 7'10 and has a wrestling fighting style. He is a very powerful character and is quite fast. He also bears a close resemblance to Akuma, another Capcom-created character.

Power Drives and Power Fusions

Power Drives

Laser Beam: Valgas charges up and fires a quick energy beam. This attack is fairly difficult to aim, and cannot be moved once it is fired; unlike his Power Fusion laser. It also does not combo well, instead connection with the opponent sends them flying away in a crackle of energy.

Shock Kick: Valgas does a roundhouse-like kick on the ground and sends out a ball of electricity with quickly chases down the closest opponent and strikes them. This attack is fairly useful, but does not deal heavy damage.

Triple Shock Kick: When Valgas does shock kick in the air instead of on the ground, the attack changes entirely. Now instead of simply kicking, he spins and kicks, releasing three large balls of electricity, that chase down the opponent much faster than the ground based ones do. This variant of the attack also deals much heavier damage.

Power Fusions

Laser of Annihilation: Valgas charges up a large ball of energy in his hands and then proceeds to fire a massive laser out of it. The laser can be swept around the stage and deals enormous damage. Opponents hit by this are not sent flying; instead, they get stuck in the beam and receive constant damage until the attack ceases.

Natural Disaster: Valgas raises his hands above his head and laughs. Moments after this, hundreds of lightning bolts begins striking the ground in front of him. The lightning bolts do not seem to come from the sky and just appear randomly in front of him. Any opponents hit by this short range attack will get trapped within it and receive massive amounts of damage, usually leaving them with slivers of health after the attack ends.

Anime

At first, Falcon was a really big fan of Valgas, who was known worldwide for being a great fighter, until Falcon learns in the later episodes that Valgas really was evil. It was revealed that, as a child, Valgas wished for ultimate power and was granted a dark stone, which made him very powerful. As a side note, Valgas may be named after Vulgus, the first video game released by Capcom.

Character Analysis

Power Stone 2

Power Drive and Power Fusions

*Energy Shot: Shoots a bolt a lightning. Does not home on the opponent.
*Toy Parade (Power Fusion): When on the ground, he conjures up many nutcrackers that fire bullets.

The doll's name is Pete. And in his chest is a shiny stone... a Power Stone. Through the Power Stone, the fond wish of Pete's owner had finally come true- and given Pete life. "My dream is to create wonderful things that surprise and delight people everywhere!" With that, Pete flew out the window, climbing higher and higher in the sky.

Character Analysis

With his small size he has great speed and can avoid many attacks. He also has the most variety in Power Fusions which gives him an advantage. But when he uses items, they become smaller and less effective. Only in Power Stone collection, he unlocks the Turbo Helmet.

Julia Whitepearl

nihongo|Julia|ジュリア|Juria Julia, a girl of regal beauty, wearing a white dress adorned by red fabric, a small, delicate top hat with blonde hair, which varies in alternate costumes. As such in certain costume it may become Brown or Red colored hair while the dress becomes hues of green and purple, yellow, and blue as the dominant instead of red. Her colors also change as well when becoming Secret Grace.

Power Drive and Power Fusions

*Slave of Love: Shoots a projectile that when hits the opponent, leaves then on a stake.
*Queen's Mischief (Power Fusion): shoots projectiles from her palm.
*Merry-Go-Round (Power Fusion): conjures up a merry-go-round. that traps the opponent.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Julia is the only daughter of the historic Whitepearl family. Behind her tender, elegant grace hides a wild personality that even she was unaware of. Her parents hoped that the power of the Power Stone, passed down through the family from generation to generation, would keep this in check. But the wild side of Julia's split personality stole the stone, and she ran away from home. When she snapped out of it, she found herself in a strange and foreign place. "I don't know what happened, but I must get out of here!"

Character Analysis

She has an advantage because she has an umbrella which gives her more air time, which helps avoid attacks. Her "Queen's Mischief" Power Fusion is hard to aim and takes practice to use. Julia's Merry Go Round attack is like Jack's Killer Dance, those not caught can attack her. With her Power Drive, she ties up her opponent so she can grab a powerful weapon and use it to attack the opponent tied up or chain the attack with a Merry Go round. In Power Stone collection, she unlocks the Stone Sweeper.

Gourmand

nihongo|Gourmand|グルマン|Guruman is an evil chef. He is a large character, but not as slow as Gunrock (the largest character). He wields a chef knife prior to Power Change. In his Power Change he looks similar to a dinosaur, known as the Evil Chef.

Power Drive and Power Fusions

*Fall Etansel: Shoots a burning projectile that then breaks up into smaller pieces.
*Chef du Franmu (Power Fusion): Gourmand spins around while blowing fire. You can control him while he spins.
*Plat de Rêsistance (Power Fusion): Gourmand rises out of a giant cooking pot, and fires various foods, which home in on the enemy.

Power Stone Collection Bio

Gourmand is head chef on the luxurious airship Royal Heaven, which sails around the world. Secretly, he is a ravenous chef who will do anything to get his hands on rare delicacies. One day, he learns about the existence of a mysterious flying castle. "Does it have new ingredients no one has seen before?" Conveniently, a huge dark shadow falls across the path of the Royal Heaven, making his ship tremble. Gourmand jumps ship with his kitchen knife and frying pan in hopes of finding new food to tickle his fancy.

Character Analysis

Gourmand has average speed and powerful attacks, and is a larger character. His left trigger Power Fusion needs to be done close to the opponents because when you move him, he goes slow. His Power Drive is kind of hard to aim too. In Power Stone collection, he unlocks the Wok Gun.

Accel

nihongo|Accel|アクセル|Akuseru's persona is that of a cowboy or a gunslinger, though he rarely uses his guns that he shows off when the round starts. Like all the newly introduced characters in Power Stone 2, Accel's age, hometown, weight, height, and fighting style are unknown. When is Power Change, he is known as the Vagabond Gunman.

Power Drive and Power Fusions

*Beat Assault: Shoots many bullets at once.
*Crazy Revolver (Power Fusion): Shoots around 5 bullets that home on the opponent.
*Wild Buzzsaw (Power Fusion): Turns into a buzzsaw on wheels. The player can control him, and he is much faster. This Power Fusion can be used three times, unlike the other characters in Power Stone 2, which can only be used twice.

Power Stone Collection Bio

"When I regained consciousness... I found myself here. They call me Accel: have gun, will travel. I got ambushed by a rough 'n' tough bunch of guys in town. Actually, they tied me to a hot air balloon and let me loose in the skies. Boy, did they get the best of me. My blood is boiling, and my soul thirsts for justice. I have to get out of here. It's time they had a healthy helping of justice pie."

Character Analysis

Though Accel has guns, he rarely uses them, only using them with a pole or using a wall move. His buzzsaw Power Fusion is hard to control, but does a lot of damage. In Power Stone collection, he unlocks the Thunderbolt Rider.

Pride Falcon

nihongo|Pride Falcon|プライド フォッカ|Puraido Fokka is the father of the main character Edward Falcon, and is an unlockable character in Power Stone 2. He makes a small appearance in the first Power Stone, during the scene of Falcon's ending, as "Falcon's Father". He along with Mel have only one entrance phrase.

In the first episode of the Power Stone anime, he sends a power stone to Falcon. Edward Falcon goes looking for him. Pride was eventually found in Dark Land, the headquarter of Valgas. Pride does not transform in the show.

Character Analysis

He fights like his son, although they have many differences. Pride does not have the double jump like his son, so he doesn't jump as high, and is more powerful. His Power Change is like Falcon's, but he uses a cyclone cannon in his form. His Power Fusion is similar to Falcon's "Power Explosion ", but it does not home, and has two consecutive attacks. A second Power Fusion resembles the " Power Hurricane " but more powerful than Falcon's previous move and lasts longer.

Mel

nihongo|Mel|メル|Meru is the shopkeeper and final unlockable character in Power Stone 2. Like the other newly introduced Power Stone characters, her hometown, weight, height, and age are unknown.

Character Analysis

She fights just like Julia, but they have differences. Mel has the lowest defense in the game (Ayame previously did in Power Stone), she has trouble carrying heavier items, and her speed isn't very fast compared to other light characters. However, she has a high jump like Jack and Ayame, and can jump up three times when in Power Change. She can use her Power Fusion many times (up to four), whereas the other characters (except for Pete and Accel) can only use their Power Fusions twice. Her Power Change resembles an Angel. She does not have any dialogue when doing a power change. Her power drive involves element cards that can be bought at her store with her left trigger power fusion throws coins and her right trigger power fusion unleashes a rain of cash bags. Because of her low defense and strength, she may be a bottom tier character.
