"MAD SCIENTIST: Experiment in Error" was produced by Southern Star Productions, distributed by MCA Distributing Corp published through its F.H.E. line on VHS in 1988. It was made to showcase the MAD SCIENTIST toy line by Mattel Toys. The show was direct to home video with a 30 minute run time consisting of two 15 minute episodes.
